Max Beach Sun Club, Riviera del Sol
Mijas Costa seafront venue Max Beach has reopened its doors following a huge renovation. If you loved Max Beach before, you cannot fail to be blown away by its recent dramatic overhaul. The new décor is Miami-style with turquoise notes popping through the predominantly contemporary white decoration. One major change to Max Beach has been the addition of an infinity pool that looks directly out over the glistening Mediterranean Sea.

Restaurante El Mirlo Blanco, Mijas Pueblo
Mijas Pueblo is a typical "old white town" just a bit into the mountains. It is a very romantic town and El Mirlo is a very nice, family owned restaurant with a nice outside terrace. Make sure to make a reservation in advance!

Trocadero Playa
Along the Golden Mile in Marbella, near Marbella Club you will find Trocadero Playa. A waterfront beach restaurant. Slightly pricy, but great food and good service. Famous about their fish and paella dishes. A great place to enjoy a Sunday brunch were lots of local people go to.

El Meson de Cervantes, Malaga
In the old town of Malaga you will find El Meson de Cervantes, one of my favourite tapas bars around here. The food is great, and not all deep-fried like the normal tapas and very reasonable priced. Also the service is great! Reservations highly recommended, since they are always full!

Picasso's is always the busiest restaurant on the port, with queues of people waiting outside in the summer. The reason it's so busy is because it offers something that many others in Puerto Banus seem to have missed - great food at reasonable prices. They have a beautiful outdoor terrace in front of the restaurant, with lots of surrounding plant life which offers the perfect place to just relax, dine and watch the people go by.
