Cabopino beach, East Marbella
Cabopino, East Marbella: another great east Marbella beach at 1200 meters long that can get very busy in summer time due to its clean sand and clear water. On the west The Playa de Cabopino has gained popularity over the years. It has clean water, long sandy beaches and plenty of amenities for all the family. Situated 13 kms. East of Marbella, Cabopino is a medium occupancy in classification. It is near the port of Cabopino which offers berthing facilities for boats and the port has a variety of shops, bars and restaurants of various prices. On the west side of Cabopino you will find the nudist and gay beach. The nearest beach bar is Andy's Beach, where you can rent beach chairs and enjoy lunch.

La Plage Casanis
La Plage Casanis is a very nice beach with a great restaurant (for lunch) as well.

Playa del Alicate, Elviria
A long strip (1900m) of beach with golden sand and moderate waves. Can get crowded in the summer. Lots of chiringuitos to choose from offering chilled sangria and typical Spanish tapas. Our absolute favor is the Beach house, where they rent out beach chairs and where they serve food. Also the offer live entertainment during the summer. The open early, so also a great place for breakfast.

Playa Real de Zaragoza
Playa Real de Zaragoza is without a doubt one of the Marbella's best beaches. In many people's eyes, the best. Situated 13kms from the centre of Marbella. It is also one of the largest beaches in the area. Real de Zaragoza is large enough and far enough from the centre to ensure that even in the height of summer you'll find a quiet part of the beach to yourself.

PLAYA DE LOS MONTEROS
Next to the hotel Los Monteros and the Bahia De Marbella urbanization is long at around 2Km, but quite narrow, and it has fine sand, it is pebble free and relatively quiet as well as being quite shallow. The beaches have life guards, a number of chiringuitos and beach bars and you might be able to get a glimpse of Antonio Banderas as he has a house nearby.

Bounty Beach, Marbella
Bounty beach is one of the youngest and hippest places to be on the Costa del Sol. Bounty beach is a favourite with many of Marbella's younger residents. Its appeal is easy to understand. With reasonably priced food and drink, palm and banana trees providing plenty of shade, the scene is completed with DJs playing soothing chillout music. The atmosphere is relaxed.

Playa Nagüeles, Marbella
They don't come much more exclusive than Playa Nagüeles. Situated on Marbella's Golden Mile, Playa de Nagueles is somewhere that needs to be seen. Clear waters, clean sandy beaches and some of the Costa del Sol's most exclusive names...

Playa de Nueva Andalucia
Starting from Puerto Banus's exclusive Marina and running westwards are the beaches of Nueva Andalucia. Offering a very different feel than the ones closer to Marbella. They are most definitely high on anyone's 'best beach' list.

Playa de Calahonda
If you´re looking for somewhere that offers more than just golden sand, then Calahonda beach is the place for you. With a choice of things to do other than just sunbathing. The beach is one of the longest in Mijas Costa, and probably one of the busiest. It stretches over 4500 meters and offers plenty of bars, restaurants and activities.

La Cala de Mijas - Butiplaya
This big sandy beach is on the edge of La Cala and is often referred to as Torrevieja Beach. It´s about 35 meters wide and runs for over 1500 meters, so there´s usually plenty of room for everyone. However it´s a very popular beach with local residents as well as tourists so it can feel quite busy during the height of the summer season.

Mijas Costa - El Chaparral - Windsurfing Beach
There´s a stretch of the coastline between La Cala and El Faro, just opposite the El Chaparral Urbanisation which is a great place to go windsurfing, kite surfing and surfing, according to those in the know! Although it´s not all about the beach here we still feel it deserves to be on our list.

Playa Naturista de Playamarina
This is a designated nudist beach between El Faro and La Cala de Mijas. It has a beautiful sandy beach with sunbeds, and a beach bar offering food and refreshments.

El Faro - Calaburra Point
The beach at El Faro has a 1000 metre area of sandy beach backed by two steep rock faces. As it´s quite rocky it is popular with snorkellers and underwater swimmers, however it´s the fishing that seems to makes this beach so popular.

Mijas Costa - Playa Peñon Del Cura - Rocky Beach
As you leave Fuengirola along the coast road you´ll see a mound of rock on your left-hand side with religious statues hidden amongst the rock face. This is Playa Peñon Del Cura, better known locally as Piedra Del Cura.
